INOTEKS is dedicated to publishing high-quality, peer-reviewed articles that explore and advance the integration of knowledge, technological innovation, and artistic creativity. The journal focuses on interdisciplinary and applied research that contributes to the development of sustainable, locally grounded, and socially impactful innovations.
The journal welcomes the following types of submissions: empirical research articles, applied research reports, case studies, design-based studies, development models, action research, and conceptual or theoretical papers. Articles must demonstrate originality, methodological soundness, and relevance to the fields covered.
Knowledge Innovation
This section emphasizes the development of ideas, models, and frameworks in science, humanities, and education, particularly those that respond to local, national, or global societal issues. Topics include but are not limited to:
- Citizenship education, character education, and civic engagement
- Local knowledge integration and curriculum innovation in schools or communities
- Social transformation through education, community-based research, or participatory action research
- Policy analysis and applied ethics in science and education
Technological Innovation
This section focuses on research that applies scientific and engineering principles to create or improve products, systems, and services. The innovations must demonstrate clear usability, effectiveness, and/or sustainability. Topics include:
- Development of appropriate technology for rural or urban communities
- Smart agriculture, renewable energy, clean technology, and green design
- ICT for education, health, environment, and social entrepreneurship
- Prototypes or pilot projects with measurable impact or scalability
Artistic Innovation
This section explores the role of arts and design in transforming societies, cultures, and identities through creative expression and experimentation. We welcome:
- Research-based art projects, performance studies, or multimedia installations
- Revitalization of traditional arts through modern reinterpretation or digital media
- Cultural heritage preservation through community-engaged or ethnographic approaches
- Artistic design and innovation in product design, fashion, or visual communication
Integrative Innovation (Knowledge–Technology–Arts)
This section supports manuscripts that showcase cross-disciplinary collaboration between researchers, engineers, educators, and artists. We seek:
- Transdisciplinary projects with community-based outcomes
- Holistic models of innovation that blend scientific, artistic, and local knowledge
- Socio-technical solutions co-developed with stakeholders
- Innovation ecosystems rooted in local culture, education, and environmental awareness
