Author Guidelines
GENERAL GUIDELINES:
- The paper needs to be one of followings; research paper, literatur review, conceptual paper, or viewpoints in education and economics and its related subjects.
- The paper has not been published previously and it is not under consideration for publication in other journal or any kind of publication.
- Plagiarism/similiarity index does not exceed 30%.
- The manuscript should be submitted by online submission in https://bit.ly/ManuscriptTemplateJEP
- Jurnal Ekonomi dan Pendidikan accepts paper submitted in softcopy and Microsoft Word format (*.doc, *.docx).
- It is within the rights of Editor to make any change in the submitted paper for proof reading purpose, without changing the paper’s content.
WRITING GUIDELINES:
- The manuscript needs to be written in English or Indonesia.
- The manuscript should be written by using available template within 8 to 20 pages.
- The citation and references are referred to American Psychological Association (APA) (Seventh Edition) style. We recommend using a reference application management such as EndNote, Mendeley, Zotero, or References Tab on Microsoft Word.
THE STRUCTURE OF PAPER
1. For research paper:
Title
The title should be concise.
Author’s name
Author’s name should not be disclosed without title. Author also needs to disclose his/her institution, country of origin, and email address.
Abstract
Abstract of paper needs to be written in both Indonesian and English. It consists research purposes, research methods, and its result or finding. Abstract is required to be concise, thorough, and it should not be more than 150 words.
Keywords
Keywords consist of some words which represent topic described in the paper. It should not be more than five concepts.
Introduction
Introduction describes research background, research question and purpose, and also described some preliminary researches which are related to research question.
Method
This section describes research planning and design. This section should describe the type of research, research’s subject and object, research instrument, and data analysis method.
Finding and Discussion
This section explains instrument testing, hypothesis testing (if any), research findings, data analysis and its interpretation, and discussion.
Conclusion
This section presents conclusion of paper, based on results and analysis described in previous section. This section can also present research implication, limitation, and recommendation.
Acknowledgements (if needed)
Collate acknowledgement at the end of the article before the references. List here those individuals who provided help during writing the paper (e.g., funding your research project, providing language help, writing assistance or proof reading the article, etc.).
References
This section lists all references which are used and cited in the paper.
2. For Literatur Review, Conceptual Paper, or View Points paper:
Title
The title should be concise.
Author’s name
Author’s name should not be disclosed without title. Author also needs to disclose his/her institution, country of origin, and email address.
Abstract
Abstract of paper needs to be written in both Indonesian and English. It is a summary of the paper which represent an overview of the problems discussed in paper. Abstract is required to be concise and it should not be more than 150 words.
Keywords
Keywords consist of some words which represent topic described in the paper. It should not be more than five concepts.
Introduction
Introduction describes main problem and question analyzed in the paper, their background, and also purpose of the paper.
Method
This section describes research planning and design. This section should describe the type of research, research’s subject and object, and analysis method.
Analysis and Discussion
This section discusses problem and main question of the paper. This section can consist of an analysis or argumentation of the issue discussed in the paper.
Conclusion
Author provides a conclusion about the issue discussed in paper, including recommendation or alternative opinion (if any).
Acknowledgements (if needed)
Collate acknowledgement at the end of the article before the references. List here those individuals who provided help during writing the paper (e.g., funding your project, providing language help, writing assistance or proof reading the article, etc.).
References
This section lists all references which are used and cited in the paper.
