Analisis Pemanfaatan Besmart E-Learning Sebagai Media Pembelajaran Mandiri di Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta

Abstract


Kemampuan belajar mandiri menjadi krusial di tengah perubahan kebutuhan kompetensi abad 21. Dengan belajar mandiri, individu dapat mengembangkan keterampilan sesuai kebutuhan dan ritme belajar mereka. Kini teknologi memegang peran yang besar dalam proses pembelajaran, pemanfaatan teknologi diharapkan dapat mengoptimalkan hasil pembelajaran dan membuat proses belajar menjadi efektif dan efisien. Hal yang sama juga diharapkan pada pembelajaran mandiri, keterjangkauan dan kemudahan akses terhadap suatu bahan belajar  serta keberadaan platform belajar yang mampu menunjang kegiatan belajar menjadi hal yang penting dalam Self Directed Learning. E-Learning dapat menjadi salah satu opsi terkiat dengan platform yang dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai media pembelajaran yang dapat mengakomodasi Self Directed Learning, Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (UNY) sendiri memiliki sebuah platform E-Learning bernama Besmart digunakan untuk memfasilitasi pembelajaran daring asinkron. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dimana metode pengambilan datanya dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan studi pustaka. Hasil penlitian ini menunjukan bahwa Besmart E-Learning UNY merupakan platform yang memadai untuk menjadi media  pembelajaran Self Directed Learning, namun sejauh penelitian ini dilakukan pemanfaatan Besmart UNY masih terbilang belum optimal.
