Jurnal Kependidikan accommodates the ideas, thoughts, innovations, and inventions' dissemination in education for national and international researchers and practitioners
Jurnal Kependidikan accepts and publishes the educational research results focusing on learning innovations and its implication for the formal education, informal and nonformal education to all of educational levels. The journal involves the scopes of these research disciplines;

Peer Review Process
Duties of Reviewers
- Must disclose any competing interest before agreeing to review a submission.
- Can refuse to review any submission due to a conflict of interest or inadequate knowledge.
- Review all submissions objectively, fairly and professionally.
- Reveal any ethical misconduct encountered while reviewing to the Chief Editor for further action.
- Should ensure the originality of a submission and be alert to any plagiarism and redundant publication.
- Must not discuss the content of the submission without permission.
- Adhere to the time allocated for the review process. Requests for extension to review the submission is at the discretion of the Chief Editor.
Open Access Policy
This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
Archiving
This journal utilizes the LOCKSS system to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration. More...

Publication Ethics
Here are the publication ethics:
- The manuscript presents complete and original information as well as objective data.
- Quotation source and reference cited in the manuscript must be informed.
- The manuscript is written concisely and clearly for efficiency.
- The manuscript is, at the same time, not being sent to and has never been published by another journal.
- Everyone involved in the research (students & supervisors) should be included in the team of writers.
- A writer who passed away should be included as a co-author.
- Authors must avoid fabrication (make up the data and results of a study).
- Authors must avoid falsification (manipulating research materials, equipment, process, changing the data or intentionally discarding data or results).
- Authors should avoid Plagiarism (taking ideas, processes, results or words without citing the sources).
- Authors should avoid Fragmentation (breaking research data into different themes of manuscript so that the discussion cannot become in-depth)
- The manuscript should not use copied materials from another article without permission.
- All materials/quotation earned from previous research, involving similar writers related to previous publications must be cited properly.
Screening of Plagiarism
Plagiarism includes, but is not limited to:
- Directly copying text from other sources without attribution
- Copying ideas, images, or data from other sources without attribution
- Reusing text from your own previous publications without attribution or agreement of the editor. Exception: Reusing text from the Methods section in the author’s previous publications, with attribution to the source, is acceptable.
- Using an idea from another source with slightly modified language without attribution.
If plagiarism is detected during the peer review process, the manuscript may be rejected. If plagiarism is detected after publication, we may issue a correction or retract the paper, as appropriate.
All manuscripts under review or published with the JPS are subject to screening using TURNITIN software.
Every manuscript submitted to JPS is going to be scanned using Turnitin (similarity check)
- Similarity Index above 40%: Article Rejected(due to poor citation and/or poor paraphrasing, article outright rejected, NO RESUBMISSION accepted)
- Similarity Index (20-40%): Send to the author for improvement [provide correct citations to all places of similarity and do good paraphrasing even if the citation is provided]
- Similarity indexLess than 20%: Accepted or citation improvement may be required. [proper citations must be provided to all outsourced texts]
In cases 2 and 3, The authors should revise the article carefully, add required citations, and do good paraphrasing outsourced text. And resubmit the article with a new Turnitin report showing NO PLAGIARISM and similarity below 20%.
Author Fees
This journal charges the following author fees.
Article Submission: 0.00 (IDR)
Authors are not required to pay an Article Submission Fee as part of the submission process to contribute to review costs.
Article Publication: IDR 1,500,000 or USD 100
If this paper is accepted for online publication, you are required to pay Article Publication Fee to cover publications costs. You will receive 1 copy of the journal.
